Voyager has a growing amount of special interest groups.

AA Meeting Alcoholics Anonymous meets once a week at the Health Clinic.
Adult Coloring Bring your own book to color along with your favorite coloring tools—and enjoy the socialization!
Al Anon Meeting Friends and families of problem drinkers find understanding and support in this group.

Professional Services
This group meets weekly during January and February for presentations and discussions relating to all types of agriculture.
American Sign Language Basic American sign language and finger spelling. No prerequisite. Strongly recommended for persons already using hearing aids. A practice partner is recommended—spouse is ideal. Plan to spend at least 2 hours practice time per week.
Astronomy Discussion precedes outdoor viewing at our weekly meeting. A star chart for 30° North Latitude and a pair of binoculars help.
ATV/Dirt Bike Trail Riding Transport your own vehicle to a different trailhead each week.  Helmet and safety gear strongly advised.
Bible Study A Bible study group meeting once a week.
Bicycle Club Bike rides of 20-40 miles are scheduled twice weekly. Route is posted in advance; terrain varies and there are very few hills. Helmet and spare tube required; water bottles recommended.
Bicycle Desert Rides Bike rides in the desert ranging from 10-17 miles. Rough details of each ride are posted on the Activity Board. Must have a desert-friendly bike. Helmets required. Spare tire, tube, water bottle, and tire sealant recommended.
Book Discussion If you’re a reader and enjoy talking about books, come join the Book Discussion Group for a lively discussion.
Caregivers Support Group Discussion group facilitated by an Alzheimer’s representative. Any caregivers are welcome to share experiences and pertinent information.
Chapel Service An interdenominational service is held every Sunday morning in the Ballroom. Hymn sing prior to service.
Community Cares For those living alone, ill, injured, or fragile that would appreciate a daily check for health and safety, this program can help meet that need. Volunteers check each day for the participant’s correct day-of-the-week card to be on display, and if not, will contact to confirm their condition.
Computer Resource Center If you need access to a computer, individual training, or help in solving computer problems, drop by the center. Hours of operation and services available are all on their website, www.voyagercrc.net.
Constitution Discussion Exploration and discussion of the U.S. Constitution.
Current Events/Economics Lively discussion group that shares facts and perspectives of current events and economic issues.
Genealogy Learn about your family tree and exchange information with other searchers. A weekly gathering features round table discussions, guest speakers, classes, and field trips. A library of genealogy related books is available. A series of instructional classes is also offered during the season.
Great Decisions A national study/discussion group of some of the most important foreign policy issues facing the United States and every American. Sponsored by the non-governmental, non-partisan, Foreign Policy Association.
Grief Support We all experience losses and grief in our lives. Grieving is nature’s way of healing a broken heart. Learn about grieving as a natural healthy process. Grief shared is grief diminished.
Growing in Faith GIFTS (Growing in Faith Through Sharing) is a Catholic Lenten Program using prayer, sharing, and reflection.
Ham Radio Group The Ham Radio group meets once a week in the Voyager Restaurant.
Hearing Loss Support Group HLAA (Hearing Loss Association of America) support group for individuals, families, and friends with all types of hearing loss.
Horseback Riding

Trail riding on energetic, healthy horses every Thursday morning. Must be comfortable loping and be able to saddle your horse. $150 per month for approximately 8 hours of riding. Sign up monthly on the Activity Board.
iPad/iPhone Club For owners and potential owners of Apple iPads or iPhones. We meet to share and learn.
Lecture Series A different historic, cultural, or health-related lecture is presented each week.
Library Volunteer-run with a large collection of donated books and utilizing the honor system.
Mac Computer Club For owners and potential owners of Macintosh computers. We meet to share problems and discoveries with software, hardware, the Internet, etc. Bring a Mac, if you can. Free WiFi. Free membership. Beginners are always in attendance.
Masonic Breakfast Breakfast meetings for all 3rd Degree Masons twice monthly. Ordering from the Voyager Bar & Grill menu.
Men’s Bible Study A Bible study group for men.
Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteers who help other residents with needs such as transportation to the grocery store or doctor appointments, picking up and/or helping to read their mail, assistance with meals, or performing small household tasks on a temporary basis.
Pet Sitting Active listing of pet sitters within the park is maintained.
Photo Session Off-site photo sessions in conjunction with Photography Group meetings held weekly.
Photography Group Photography information exchange and group trips for off-site photography. Outside park photo sessions every Friday morning.
Potluck Dinners Bring a dish to share at the weekly covered dish supper. A Vegetarian Potluck dinner is also held monthly.

Red Hat Society Groups We wear purple dresses and red hats and just get together to have fun!
Re-Imagining God With a theme of “Spiritual Awakening,” this group’s goal is to experience a connection with the universal consciousness.
Singles Group Join with other singles for a variety of planned activities scheduled both in and out of the resort.
Spanish Conversational Spanish classes give you the chance to learn the “local” language.

Opera Company
The Voyager Light Opera Company (VLOC) holds auditions each spring for singers, dancers, actors, and stage crew to launch a full book Broadway musical/operetta to be performed the following spring. No experience necessary, just a desire to “tread the boards.”

Women’s Bible Study A Bible study group for women utilizing the book, Fruit of the Spirit.
World History and Economics Discussion of events or persons with an emphasis on comparative history.
