Tohono O'odham Reservation
Built 1783-1797 by the Franciscans, the mission is both a historic landmark and an active Tohono O'oodham Indian parish and church. Located on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation, the mission is known as the "White Dove of the Desert." An extensive restoration project is under way in the church The church, shop and museum are open daily.

Enjoy narrated tours through the place where mammoths roamed, Hohokam Indians made irrigation dams, pony soldiers found swimming holes, and Civilian Conservation Corps built bridges and cut hiking trails. The tram trip is 45 minutes through the most camera worth scenery in the Tucson area.
